We are sure that if we were bumps on the pads of Batiste's feet, we could tell some wild stories.  This dog came to us as a retired team dog, an estimated 6 years old at the time.  She not only ran for us as a trusted leader for 4 years, but we found out later that she had probably made a trip to Iditarod earlier in her life.  She continues to amaze us but we will be spoiling her rotten in her retirement years.
